Bailey’s clinical experience includes assessment and treatment of infants to adolescents with a variety of delays and disorders, including receptive-expressive language disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), stuttering, and articulation/phonological processing disorders. She also has experience identifying and treating orofacial myofunctional disorders, including tongue and lip ties, tongue thrust, mouth breathing, incorrect swallow patterns, and abnormal dental and facial growth issues. Her passion is in early intervention with an emphasis on parent coaching and play-based therapy.
Bailey is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She has extensive knowledge in the area of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) for minimally verbal and non-verbal individuals. Bailey is PROMPT trained and has completed coursework in Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders. She strongly believes in providing highly effective intervention with a holistic and collaborative approach to care.
Outside of work, Bailey enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, hanging out with her dogs, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
She would be more than happy to talk or meet with you to discuss her training, experience, and philosophy of intervention.
